FOR SALE! LOTS of chop fiberglass mat (3 oz per sq ft)

Postby flak_monkey » Mon Jun 04, 2007 7:33 pm

I have at least 1 yard of 50 inch wide chop mat left from my project. I don't care for chop, it's not really for what i was using it for (long flat runs). But it's good stuff, about as thick as a quarter, 3 oz. Doesn't sound like much, but this stuff is fairly thick and very strong. More than enough to do a full set of door pods or kick pods.
$10 plus shipping. No more than $18.

I'll take pics for anybody who wants it.

I'm switching to biaxial weave.

No doubt. I guess I want $8 plus shipping. I just remembered what it cost when I bought the roll.

x2, I got some of that biaxial cloth from fiberglasssite.com and it is nutz!!! 3 different layers of material for extreme strength - even my sharpest blade was having a hard time cutting through it! cheap too....

And anyone looking for matt - 3oz/sq. ft. is definitely good stuff for building a strong enclosure!
