Adam ..!!!!!!!!!!!!! what it is amigo....

I dunno what all that was about ...but i'm all about blowing shit up for no reason....used to do alot of pyrotech stuff years back......
Nothing on that scale...but I did work on a drilling rig...and you having lived until one blows a 15 inch valve 100 yards in two directions at about mach one and shoots pressurized earth blood 360 degrees and NOTHING catchs fire.....;)
First everyone ducks..........
Then everyone scrambles close to the end of the platform incase they have to jump if they happen to be on fire.........
Then everyone makes sure they still have all their limbs....
They they start calling the deck mates and taking a count.....
If everybody is alive....and nobody is missing an arm or head....and there is no fire....we scrambled for tools and a new valve and laugh like madmen...

Good to see ya Adam!!!!!

Will do, hippie.

And that's a relative statement. You may feel like you did, but I think my week was pretty good. For instance, I didn't have to put up with you! :p

JK, you know I wuv you Atom :)

Fire works at the oil derreck

Sunset at the oil derreck

The ping pong ball light matrix... Each ping pong ball suspended in mid air contained three primary colour lights, and the entire matrix was controlled by a computer. At night, the matrix would form absolutely stunning three dimensional images, simply from lighting the different ping pong balls in different colours and patterns. It created everything from rain, to waves in the air, rapidly moving walls, etc.

"The Monkeys" was such a cool display... It had to be a cooperative effort to make it work... There were six or so stationary bicycles around the display, each hooked up to a small generator. When all six bikes were going, it created enough energy to spin the top section where all of the monkeys are hanging.... Now, at night, when people got on the drums, they would activate strobe lights. At night with the thing turning and the strobe lights, it created the absolutely stunning effect of the rotating bars being stationary, and the lifeless monkeys crawling around the bars as if they were alive, along with the snakes slithering around the monkeys as if they were alive as well. It was the coolest fucking thing! Not to mention quite trippy... Freaked me out just a little when I first saw it.

if you look closely you can see how each monkey and snake is in a slightly different position, and the strobe created kind of a stop motion animation at night.

Double rainbows that showed up... Beautiful, complete rainbows touching the ground on both sides. This was after the second 80 mph sand storm and the rain :)
