hey guys I was just wondering of you could suggest a powered amp to use that would compliment the brahma mkII 15" in a ported box. I don't know much about home audio but I have no where to put this sub and I loved it so much in my car I had so I figured I'd upgrade my home by using it. Any suggestions?

what kind of budget? There is a 1000 watt plate amp on partsexpress.com that would work. They also probably have a few different rack mount amps in the power range.

500 or 1000 watt plate from PE would be good like KU said. I am also in the process of getting my Brahma from my car to my home. Except I will be doing a Passive radiator design. There is also a 500 watt BASH plate amp that would work well too. A quick google will find it.

As for placement, I don't know anywhere best to put it, but just experiment and tune low.

sweet! so they have seperate amps you can use not just plate amps? it would be easier to have one on the side and just hook up the + and - to the sub box. could you guys suggest a half way decent amp for the brahma? i dont want to spend a g or anything crazy but at the same time i know if you want something decent that your gunna have to spend a little bit. something mid range is what i would be looking for. so how would it hook up? like i said im not a home audio guy and ive been out of car audio for a while so its all a little rusty.
