I Found a perfect 12.5" PVC pipe!

The pipe looks like HDPE pipe used for trenchless installs of utility lines. I've worked several times with a crew installing the stuff. The joints are heat welded such that you get a continuous and airtight install. Very strong stuff.

yea, its heavy as hell, and brand new blades on the table saw have trouble making cuts.

I would have been real tempted to leave the whole length un-cut and try that first - it was like 12' right? 28Hz loading, stuffed a little and it would be damn efficent. Sure it would have a real low wife acceptance factor but could sound really sweet, depending on the Fs of that driver. Assuming it would fit in the house :)

it was about 14 feet at first, luckily I have to wife to get past, only roommates, and apartment neighbors, hehe...
